Established in early 2014\, Chemical Mass hit the mid Missouri music scene and released a 4 track demo. Featured songs such as “Denial” and “Nibiru” gave an early indication to their chosen direction. Some describe it as saturated with “Tool” and “Deftones” like influences. 2015 brought around their first digital release\, a single titled “Beyond What You Know” which can be seen as a study of one’s self and the basic human instinct of conformity. A second release in 2016\, titled “Secrets and Lies”\, was brought on by an even more dynamic approach to their song writing where the fabric of our society and social structure is brought into question. Each original track is packed with thought provoking lyrics that are vocally carried over with driven conviction.
