Emotionally charged blues rock\, powered by the common man’s passion for life and all the struggles in-between. He is known for writing songs with meaning\, a powerfully persuasive voice and master class musicianship.  After signing a record deal with Ruf Records in March of 2018\, Johnson has released three chart toping releases. Straitjacket (#6 August 2018)\, Heavens to Betsy (#1 April 2020)\, Unemployed Highly Annoyed (#4 November 2020).  Combined with his previous two releases\, GRIND (#8 November 2015)\, Blues Heart Attack (#5 August 2016); Johnson’s last five releases have all been in the top 8 of the Billboard Blues Album Charts.  Jeremiah Johnson is a 2022 Blues Music Award Nominee for the best blues rock album\, Unemployed Highly Annoyed.  Over the last four years\, Johnson has toured the US and performed nearly two hundred European shows\, opening for Mike Zito and as a featured artist in the 2020 Ruf’s Blues Caravan.  He was recently a featured artist on the Nov 2021 Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise. \n \n \n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The band is fronted by brothers Dick and Dave Pruitt on bass and electric guitars. Growing up on country soul and rock-n-roll\, the Pruitt brothers have developed a harmony vocal style all their own. They have been performing together for more than 30 years\, wowing audiences nightly with their unique brand of music- leading one reviewer to refer to them as the “Everly Brothers of Blues.” \nFormed in 1981\, the original incarnation of the Bel Airs included the Pruitt brothers\, harp player Michael Henderson and drummer Pat O’Connor. In those days\, rumor has it that in addition to playing guitar behind his head\, little David Pruitt occasionally rode on Henderson’s shoulders at the end of an especially raucous set. \nWith four acclaimed albums and performances at festivals and night clubs across the USA as well as England\, France\, Belgium and Spain\, the band continues to travel extensively.​ ​ The Bel Airs’ musical approach and superbly crafted showmanship make for a more than memorable concert whenever they appear. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \n  \n  \n  \n
