Paul honed his craft around the wood stove at the family cabin\, in churches\, and in the blues clubs of Kansas City and Springfield\, MO. While playing all over the great state of Missouri\, he earned a music degree and continues to earn a reputation for connecting people with story songs and skillful guitar work. Heavily influenced by the Springfield Sound and the blues scene in Kansas City\, Paul currently resides near his grandparent’s home in Jefferson City\, Missouri where you can find him playing his red Fender Stratocaster wherever people gather to share life\, love\, and music.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou will find Paul performing as a solo artist\, duo or sitting in with full bands\, including the powerhouse blues band\, Buddha Blue…a perfectly well rounded musician and performer. You may have seen Paul at Gumbo Bottoms\, Rose Music Hall\, Logboat Brewery\, The Outpost\, The Mission just to name a few. He took guitar lessons at the age of 8 because his dad\, who could play and sing by ear\, wanted him to learn to read music. Matt Wynn is a soloist and guitarist that plays the older style of country and some rock from the 60s through the 90s\, with early 2000s and modern country thrown in. “I can say without a doubt that I would have never made it as far as I have in life if I didn’t have a song. Whether to loose myself\, remember where I come from\, or just to have a good time\, I love music for that reason” So come on in and say hi\, I’d love to have Y’all here at The Mission!!! \nMatt is also wrapping up his final year as a Lincoln Army ROTC Cadet and just placed a ring on his beautiful fiancé!
