The Mission

Due to the nature of sharing instruments and art supplies, we do not feel it is wise to host our Open Night and Drink & Draw…and it’s killing us. We make this decision based upon the reports and updates from the CDC. Our patrons, staff and family are priority.

We’ve made the tough decision to close The Mission 3/22 through April. God willing, we will open May 1. We hate doing this, but feel it’s best for our patrons, staff and family. This decision was made based upon the reports and updates from the CDC.

Many of you have asked, “How can we help?” First, everybody in the entertainment industry is hurting. We are not alone. However, we are unable to move any of our inventory, no carryout for booze. 🤷‍♀️ We have added a “SHOP” feature on our website. You will have two options to help. You can donate funds to The Mission or purchase eGift Cards.

In the coming days, we will start our annual Mission Membership enrollment and be adding shirts for sale (shipping) and possibly additional merchandise. A GoFund Me account has been considered to cover staff salaries and other fixed costs.

Streaming a few live shows from our stage is also in the works. Keeping our community connected through music is important in these difficult and uncertain times.

Opening our doors on May 1 is our goal. Doing our part not to spread the virus is our obligation. Peace and love to you all…be good to each other.

1) Sign up slot at the top and bottom of the hour. (i.e. 8, 8:30, 9, 9:30, etc.) This allows 2 time slots to remain open each hour for walk-in performances. (8:15, 8:45, 9:15, 9:45, etc.)

2) Each Facebook event will include an early sign up opportunity. Times slots will be filled through responses in the event discussion ONLY on a first requested confirmation. This keeps things transparent and fair. NOTE: The Mission and Q Entertainment reserve the right to schedule artists prior to posting the Facebook event. However, once the event is posted, it is on a first response confirmation.

3) Confirmed times are just that, confirmed. No show/No calls will limit your option to sign up early again.

4) We will designate a “Jam” time for each event at the end of the evening. Invite players, come prepared, share the magic.

A TRUE Open Mic Night brought to you by Q Entertainment and hosted by Ryan Grosvenor! Full backline provided; drums, bass, guitar AND amps. Just show up and show us whatcha got! Sing, play, poetry, dance, comedy…The Mission stage is open. This is a great opportunity for new projects, solo acts or just the desire to share your talent. Great time to face any “stage fright”…it’s all about supporting folks at The Mission. Come join us!

The Rules: Have FUN. Be respectful to ALL the patrons AND performers.

If you are a musician: Bring your gear or don’t! Guitar(s), keyboard and drum set ready for you to use.

If you have more time and talent to give: Try out for the MISSION QUEST night on the opposing Wednesdays of OPEN MIC. It’s your chance to have more time on stage.
