JAM FOR JEFFERSON CITY – Benefit for our Neighbors

#JCSTRONG – Music makes everything better even if for a little while. There is much work to be done in JTown. During Jam for Jefferson City, local musicians will gather to bring hope and spread some joy through our universal language.

WHERE?? 900 BLOCK EAST HIGH STREET {In front of The Mission}

Each artist performing Sunday contacted The Mission to donate their talent and calls JC home. We hope to help start the healing process in JTown. We know how to do that….throw some music on it!

Funds raised through this event will be donated to Habitat for Humanity and Common Ground Community Building. We are in the planning phase, however our goal is to have representatives from these organizations present to accept donations directly in addition to non perishable items. Stay tuned for more information.

Welcome to Common Ground Community Building. We are a community service agency dedicated to helping neighbors in the Jefferson City area reach their full potential. What started as a small ministry of churches in downtown Jefferson City has grown into a vital community partner offering temporary financial assistance, access to healthy food through a Community Garden and a partnership with Capitol City Farmer’s Market, housing support through our Families Forward program, and education opportunities for learning computer or fiber arts skills.
Common Ground’s mission is to provide an innovative and relationship-focused approach to addressing the needs of clients in poverty. Through the development of a strong network of community-based partners and services, Common Ground strives to help individuals and families achieve sustainable freedom from poverty.
