So we’re a fairly new group playing, of all the darn things…..rockabilly!!!
What exactly is rockabilly you ask? Well, most consider it the dark side of 50’s rock & roll….the first “punk” music, if you will. When people think of 50’s rock & roll they think of the doo-wop groups, such as The Platters, The Skyliners, etc. (WE LOVE THAT STUFF BTW) Rockabilly is not quite as….polite.
We do everything from classic rockabilly (Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran, early Elvis) to newer rockabilly (Reverend Horton Heat, Stray Cats, Hillbilly Hellcats) to some rock (Green Day, early Bowie, Stones). We’ve also been known to take well known country tunes & give them a rockabilly dressing.
Our shows have been unpredictable & lots of fun.
