Born and raised in Pontotoc, Mississippi, just a stones throw from the Mississippi Delta Joe was immersed in American music. His childhood was filled with blues, gospel harmonies in church and “front porch pickin’” amongst gatherings of family and friends. His grandfather was a finger style guitar player on his off time from being one of the first crop duster pilots in the state. Growing up, Joe was mesmerized watching his grandad play and learned to sing along. His grandad passed away and left his guitar to Joe. That’s when he learned to play guitar like he’d always wanted to. A few years later he also learned fiddle and really began to find his niche. After high school, he attended college on a music scholarship and played in a country music ensemble. After college, he played professionally based out of Nashville and Memphis. However, the Texas music scene had always appealed to him. In November 2014 he got the opportunity to move to north Texas and has now found his home amongst the Texas music scene.

Tom McElvain was born and raised in Wichita Falls, Texas. As a boy he was interested in music but he was discouraged at every turn. He loved to write and perform and later found a love for the freedom of the road but put more effort in being the stable day in day out employee he thought his family wanted. It was in 2000 that he decided the music life was what he was meant for.

He was fortunate enough for Ray Wylie Hubbard to take him under his wing. Since then he has written with Cody Jinks, Robbie White blacktop Gypsy, Ronny Spears, Mark David Manders, and other music friends.
