Those few moments of sitting in complete silence waiting patiently as emotions flow though you, plucked out of thin air, humming sweetly as it flows from your brain…through your limbs and out of your fingertips as that sweet melody makes it way to the blank sheet of paper before you. That powerful sensation, that magic has been felt each time a new story is created. That raw energy has flowed through Kid Kase since the early ages of 12 when he first felt that memorable experience. Kid Kase is a native of Columbia, Missouri and has captured the hearts of all who fell victim to his charm. His poetic journey began as expressing himself through the written craft developed into an emotional outlet while in high school; it soon turned into a destined way of life as Kid Kase nurtured his craft. The love of music grew as Kid Kase developed into a young man and eventually a father and role model.
Kid Kase has been inspired from shear talent of various artist from Cassidy to Immortal Technique though his all-time favorite artist Tech N9ne and Waka Flocka. Kendale Williams who is now known to the community and his many fans as “Kid Kase,” once was known around Columbia as “Cudii Da Kid.” Under this original name Kid Kase completed and distributed his first mixtape “Cudii’s World,” which set people on fire from city to city…coast to coast. The name Kid Kase was adopted from a fan who accidentally butchered a sentence praising his freestyling ability one evening while downtown in Columbia. The Statement “You’re a Cold Case Kid,” resulted in “you’re a Kid Case Cold” The name Kid Kase simply fit with his personality and has become a part of his very essence as an artist since that moment.
He is a living contribution to the very essence of what is considered art. It touches individuals in different ways as people are captivated by several aspects of music, dancing, art, and poetry. Kid Kase has a wide variety of talents, his music streams from the love he has for his family. “I don’t know where I would be, probably out here looking like a hooligan or something;” he stated in a recent interview when asked about his family involvement. Family has had deep roots resonated. His mother has been the biggest support system for Kendale “Kid Kase” Williams. The self-determination and discipline, the dedication exhibited from his mother has been his motivating fuel to keep pushing himself forward in the musical world. He has accomplished a wide variety of things from opening up for various artist such as MGK to Tech N9ne. When People asked how it was to open up for Tech N9ne he said “the feeling of the audience was surreal. You can simply say turn your phone light on and everyone in the crowd would do it not thinking twice. But nothing compares to the feeling of looking out in the crowd and seeing people reciting your music back to you now that is a feeling of accomplishment.”
His newly found sponsor Bluehouse Media owned and operated by Marco “Balck Grits” Patterson has a lot of things in the works for artist Kid Kase. Planning on releasing a mixtape called “The Late Bloomer” which is specializing in feel good party music and a few r&b sensations.
Music is his child, his love, his muse; slowly growing stronger and developing as Kendale “Kid Kase.”
