Capital Jazzfest Big Jazz Jam Fundraiser 2016

The big guns come out to jam at the JULY 28th Jazz Jam at The Mission, 915 E. High Street in Jefferson City. Music starts around 7:30 with Pseudo Blue 2th. All tax-deductible donations go to help fund the annual Capital Jazzfest, and the Jazz On Wheels program. Several jazz musicians (and a few fantastic rockers) from around the state have RSVP’ed to attend and play. Food provided by Madison’s Cafe. Also there will be a silent auction for special items, including signed photographs of world renowned musicians TROMBONE SHORTY and CHRISTIAN MCBRIDE, as well as a NEW shot of Jeff City ex-pat trumpeter HERMON MEHARI. And we’ve found another autographed DVD of the Bel Airs’ 2015 performance at the Capital Jazzfest. And businesses in Jefferson City were kind enough to donate other items for the auctions, including FOUR TICKETS TO THE BEL AIRS GIG at The Mission July 30, and BEAUTIFUL PIECES OF JEWELRY from Kas A. Designs! There will be raffles and music, fun and some serious jamming! You don’t want to miss this one! It is free and open to the public, but all donations are gratefully accepted. Please help the Capital Jazzfest grow to bring musicians from around the country to the capital city. And help keep it FREE!!!! Again, it’s Thursday, July 28 and starting at 7:30. Some backline provided by Will West Music and Sound.
