The Mission

RICHARD PARKER

Richard Parker is an original rock band from Columbia, MO. Bass player Shawn Ettleman and guitarist Jonathan Martin decided to form an original band in the summer of 2013. The two had worked together for over a year in the cover band Downfall. When Dylan Lorenz (Drums) replaced Downfall’s former drummer and showed interest in the music Shawn and Jonathan were writing, the group that would be later known as Richard Parker started to take shape. They worked for months writing and hammering out the new songs while searching for other musicians and a vocalist. After jamming with many talented people they all brought in the fourth member, Kyle Bellinger (vocals). Richard Parker is quickly becoming a well known band in the Columbia music scene. Their shows are high energy, and feature a variety of styles that will appeal to any audience. Are you ready for the Richard Parker experience?

ALMOST TAKEN

Almost Taken originated in Jefferson City, MO. They are a 4 piece hard rock band that loves to rock the stage. They have played with the bands like: Attaboy, Abandon, Sidewalk Prophets, The City Harmonic, The Great Romance, and many others. Their shows have been at a variety of venues, from Harley Davidson Motorcycle Rallies, Church youth events, to large music festivals. With influences such as: Foo Fighters, Red, Switchfoot, Chevelle, and Breaking Benjamin, a show by Almost Taken features high energy, original, hard rock music with screaming guitar solos and clear melodic vocals.
