Pat Reedy & Todd Day Wait’s Pigpen and Rose Ridge
“That’s right folks. Mr. Pat Reedy and I are going to be doing a tour together starting next week. Going to be playing in Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, Michigan and Tennessee. Hope to see some friendly faces at the shows. You can go to the tour event and see the tour schedule. Going to have Leo Grassl on pedal steel, Corey McGillivary on upright bass and George Aschmann on the fiddle. Pat Reedy and I will be leading the band with some original songs and some good dancin numbers. See you soon folks.” Todd Day Wait
In 2009, Todd Day Wait put everything he owned on the curb of his home in Columbia, Missouri, and started what would become a seemingly never-ending cross-county voyage. Traveling in a vegetable oil-powered airport shuttle bus, he headed out to California by way of the Rocky Mountains, and ended up in New Orleans. Along the way, he would find collaborators where he could, picking up one line-up for a few states, and rotating regionally. Relying on each musician’s various strengths, Todd would adapt his music to suit them, shifting genres as he did states. Through this process, Todd Day Wait arrived at a musical aesthetic that blends blues, folk, country, early R&B, and soul. In 2012, after years on the road, Todd Day Wait relocated to New Orleans. Today, Todd Day Wait’s Pigpen can be found playing on the streets of the French Quarter and in venues throughout New Orleans.

A Wisconsin boy and Mississippi girl, Tracy & Jenny refer to their collaboration as running with scissors, making and faking their favorite tunes. Tracy started picking at age five, returning to the stage in 2012 after 25 years away from public performances. Jenny loves live music. Performing classical works since childhood, obtaining a degree in Music Theory & Composition, having played in a couple of local projects, decided opening a music venue in the Capital City would be a great idea. With Tracy’s encouragement, returning to the stage has been a dream fulfilled. Whether performing their own creations or putting their spin on another’s song, playing in front of folks continues to fuel the fire. Doing what ya love with somebody ya love is as good as it gets.
