Griff-n-Green will host the next MoBlues jam on February 19th, 2015. The open-mic jam will be held at the Mission in Jefferson City, Mo., 314 East High st. Our MoBlues jams at the Mission always attract a lot of jammers & the sound guys on board keep the the groups sounding great! Party starts about 8pm.
Griff-n-Green is a new blues-band to embark on the mid-Missouri music scene. Matt Griffin on vocals & harmonica, Bill Kauffman on drums, Ben Green on vocals & guitar, & Bens son Izzak on bass have a unique recipe for finding the groove. With a list of original songs & a fine selection of “gut-bucket” covers, this group is sure to keep the toe a tapp’n.
JAMMERS: after a Griff n Green opening set, it’s your turn to step up and shine. Our jams are a great, friendly, no-pressure way to get to know other players and pick up on tips and styles. We sure hope you’ll come out to play!
