Jarrod Turner is a country and blues singer-songwriter from Sturgeon, MO. . Sturgeon is in the heart of the mid-west and is a small bedroom town of less than a 1,000 folks. Growing up there has shaped Jarrod’s lyrics and personality into a small-town, working man type of guy. In 2005, Jarrod released a collection of demo songs called,”One Man Band” that were tracked in his music rehearsal space. In 2007 Jarrod released his first studio album called,”Travelin” with his former band For The Irony. Most of the songs from Travelin’ were taken from the demo recordings on 2005’s One Man Band. In 2009 Jarrod formed JtB. In 2010 Jarrod released an album recorded in his home. Jarrod is currently working on a new CD slated for release in 2015. He’s also touring around the mid-west now. Jarrod will be doing a regional tour in support of his new album in 2014.
Singer-songwriter, Jarrod Turner is a touring musician, session artist and owner of Local Music Solutions. He’s released 3 albums independently is currently working on his 4th release. Jarrod is gearing up for a US tour starting in Oct. 2014 and running through the summer of 2015.
His previous 3 albums have sold around the world and received radio airplay on college, commercial and public radio around the world. He’s based out of the United States but also has a growing fan base in Spain, Ireland, Japan, Australia and Germany.
Jarrod is partnered with ChildFund International for his upcoming 2014 Up Close and Personal tour and a portion of album and ticket sales will be donated to the charity. Fans can also sponsor children at his tour dates and will receive a free CD or T-shirt in exchange for their generosity.
