Gin City and Rev Nation (Benefit for Syndey's Circle)

As an extension of love within the music community, both Gin City and Rev Nation are donating their earnings from tonight’s show to the Sydney’s Circle Foundation. Cash/Check collection jar will be available this evening as an opportunity for each of you to help. More information will be available this evening. Run by the ATM and grab some extra cash or don’t forget to bring your checkbook! Won’t be able to put your donations on credit/debit cards.

Sydney’s Circle is a circle of family and friends who are supporting Sydney and her family in a battle against Tay Sachs Disease.

What exactly is Tay Sachs disease? It is a fatal genetic disorder in children that causes progressive destruction of the central nervous system. Children with Tay Sachs disease, even with the best care, die early in childhood as there is no cure today. Although we only have Sydney for a short time, her comfort and happiness is our #1 priority. Please stand by us as we give Sydney the time of her life!

We are just three guys that love music and have for a long time. We each have a different taste in music, so a “genre” is really out of the question.

There is one thing all of us music lovers have in common. The rush. The chills and goosebumps that music can give you. The way you can get completely lost in a song. How music can bring whatever emotion out of you that it wants. Anyone that has ever had a feeling like this is a friend and fan of our’s. That moment in music that takes you away is what we are after. That is what Gin City is all about. No gimmicky bubblegum music that seems to just be lingering in the music scene. We are always looking for places to play; anywhere from a house party to just some people chillin with bongos and acoustic guitars. We don’t want the money. We just want to play.

Hailing from Jefferson City, Missouri, The five members of Rev Nation have only one thing on their minds….to bring loud, aggressive music to the masses. The early stages of Rev Nation began in the summer of 2012 when Guitarist Westley Entz discovered vocalist Dustin Griffin at a local show in Jefferson city, MO. Westley approached Dustin with the proposal to begin collaborating on material and for the next year they dedicated their time to writing and recording. They began scouting for members to form a full line up. Many auditions were held and many members came and went during this time. In fall of 2013 Drummer Matt Johnson contacted Wes in response to an ad to fill the spot. In January of 2014 the band was solidified with the addition of Guitarist Jordan Klebba and Bassist Josh Lee.
