Rae Fitzgerald
Rae Fitzgerald is a singer/songwriter based in Columbia, Missouri. She is most known for her sultry voice and complex, emotionally-intricate lyrics, often tied to minimalistic melodies. In genre her songs range from rootsy americana anthems to sleek indie rock, a variance largely attributed to contributing musicians.
Rae’s musical mainstays include Josh Chittum, Ian Vardell, Lucas Oswald and Wil Reeves, all excellent and accomplished musicians in their own right. Live performances most certainly contain Chittum’s charming melodica, Vardell’s agile and polished lead riffs and Fitzgerald’s acoustic guitar and soulful voice, forming a warm, often gypsy-esque trio.
Fitzgerald has released two full-length albums, “Of War & Water” in 2011 and “Quitting the Machine” in 2013. She’s currently planning on a series of extensive tours in early 2014, followed hopefully be the release of a third full-length in the summer.
