Mission Quest – Native to Nowhere/Rose Ridge
During Mission Quest, our stage is open to solo/duo or full bands every other Wednesday opposite Open Mic Nights. Due to the overwhelming response and requests to fill the limited time slots available, we’ve decided to go with the flow and keep it going. If you are a young band needing stage experience, if you are a new project without a full night of material and want to get some crowd feedback or if you are a seasoned musician working on a solo/duo project and want a dress rehearsal before that first gig…. let us know. THIS NIGHT IS FOR YOU! (Need at least one hour of material, we provide full p/a, lights and sound technician) Message me on Facebook @ The Mission or email: livemusic@themissionjc.com for more details and to schedule your act…don’t wait.
ROSE RIDGE
A Wisconsin boy and Mississippi girl, Tracy & Jenny refer to their collaboration as running with scissors, making and faking their favorite tunes. Tracy (aka The Walking Jukebox) started picking at age five, returning to the stage two years ago after 25 years away from public performances. Jenny loves live music. Performing classical works since childhood, obtaining a degree in Music Theory & Composition, having played in a couple of local projects, decided opening a music venue in the Capital City would be a great idea. With Tracy’s encouragement, returning to the stage has been a dream fulfilled.
Few  live recordings…pardon the language 🙂

Brandon: “I am influenced by pretty much every drummer I can possibly think of. I try to use all of their talents to practice and build my own. Personal favorites include: Joey Jordison, Danney Carey, Nameless Goul, Chad Smith, Dr. Chud, Travis Barker, and many MANY more.”
Charlie: “My influences are Matt Tuck and all of Bullet for my Valentine, Three Days Grace, As I Lay Dying (Before Tim went to prison), Miss May I, and so many other great hard rock and metal bands out there. Oh, and Cody!”
Cody: “My influences are Ben Weinman, John Frusciante, Tim McIlrath (songwriting more than technical ability), and George Orwell. Oh and Charlie!”
Jacob: “Everybody knows that a bassist is basically a monkey that plays a broom stick with a few strings attached to it…and everybody ALSO knows that monkeys don’t have influences!!!…except for bananas…monkeys LOVE bananas!!!” ~ Brandon
