8:30 – BLACKWATER
Adam Riggs, Kayne Kirchner, Anthony Bertucci and Hampton Waggoner Adam and Kayne formed the band together in 2010. Adam on accustic and Kayne on electric guitar. They found themselves needing a drummer and bass player to even things out and thats where Hampton and Anthony came in. Anthony plays bass and Hampton rocks the drums. Now they had a band! They play mostly cover songs from the 60’s and 70’s. They also experiment with originals that are becoming fan favorites. The boys play what they call “pure” rock from the time period when nothing was autotuned or digitally enhanced.The band is maturing musically,looking good and very happy to be headed down the road they are going.
10:30 – THE WOODSMITHS
Derek-Guitar/Vocals, Corey-Gypsy Drum Kit/Hand Percussion, Tim-Washtub/Acoustic Bass
Carving sounds for your eardrums with a rotating circle of friends and several bottles of alchohol. With songs about sleeping in squat houses and drinking whiskey on the river side get ready to clean some grit out of your teeth.
The Mission Quest resumes! This summer, our stage was open to solo/duo or full bands every other Wednesday opposite Open Mic Nights. Due to the overwhelming response and requests to fill the limited time slots available, we’ve decided to go with the flow. If you are a young band needing stage experience, if you are a new project without a full night of material and want to get some crowd feedback or if you are a seasoned musician working on a solo/duo project and want a dress rehearsal before that first gig…. let us know.
